So many people have their dog with them while RV camping. Let’s face it, dogs are a member of the family.  Every one walks their dog around the campground and get a little exercise at the same time.  While walking your dog you meet many people, and of coarse, they tell you what a nice dog you have.  The dog also meets new friends, and enjoys walks all the time.

Some times there has been a little bad weather and your dog gets his or her feet wet and dirty.  Upon arriving at your RV,  pet wipes really come in handy to clean your dogs feet.  No more dirt tracked  into your RV.

The pet wipes also are helpful for partial cleaning in between baths.

Babble Ball for your Dog

Dogs always enjoy a new toy.  I got my dog a new toy a couple of weeks ago and another dog came to visit.  My dog really didn’t want the othr dog to play with her new toy.  She never minded the other dog playing with her other toys.  Now, that shows how much they appreciate something new for themselves.

The babble ball is a toy that really intrigues my dog.  She loves to play with it, and is baffled by the sounds.  It is a great RV camping dog accessory.  When camping on rainy days dogs can get real bored and having a toy to play with really helps.

One of Many “Money Saving” RV Camping Dog Accessories

Taking your dog to get the coat trimmed can become quite costly. A cordless trimmer costs a little more than one trimming at a dog grooming shop.  Save money by having your own trimmer and doing it yourself.  It is not difficult. This cordless trimmer is top quality and you can get professional results.

I have found that by clipping my dog’s coat I have been able to save a considerable amount of money and I am satisfied with the results.  I really can’t tell the difference than a professional doing it or doing it myself.

Our Pets are part of our Family

dog bedsHave you noticed how many pets are at RV campgrounds?  Some RV campgrounds have pens for your dog to play in.  We do not go traveling without our dog, Sheba. Sheba enjoyes traveling as much as we do. She gets to meet new dogs all the time and is taken on many walks. Sheba loves all people too. Everyone she meets is an old friend to her. One man was in a golf cart and she had to say hello by giving him kisses.  He said “But we have only just met”. Our pets are so entertaining and such good companions.  We pamper them and try to satisfy them with a good bed to sleep on and dog toys to play with.  I have found some different, interesting dog toys.  Sheba enjoys them and plays with them often.

Fortunately, most RV campgrounds allow pets. If a campground doesn’t  allow pets, we don’t go to it.  It seems that most of the campgrounds realize that they wouldn’t have much business if pets were not allowed.  Of coarse you have to be considerate and carry a bag with you to pick up their messes, which is reasonable.  Many campgrounds supply bags, but we take bags with us to be prepeared, in case bags are not supplied.

Dog’s can be a problem with their dirty feet.  I found some dog wipes that help keep the RV clean.  We know to whipe our feet before entering our RV, but dogs need a little assistance. wipes

Enjoy your traveling with your pet.
