Lake Wenatchee State Park in Washington State

Lake Wenatchee is another beautiful spot in Washington State where we like to go. Both the Wenatchee State Park and nearby Nason Creek have RV campgrounds. The Cove Resort is also another RV park within only a few miles. The State Park is our first choice as the RV sites are there at the lake where we can walk to the beach and swim, put our boat in if we choose, and be amidst this wondrous fir forest and mountain views. The last time we stayed at the RV Park at Wenatchee State Park, we took a ride to the other side of the lake and took a trail head up to Hidden Lake. It was so picturesque and we were the only folks there! On occasion, we also drive about 20 minutes to the small town of Leavenworth, an especially great place to visit during their Oktoberfest. Not only is the foliage beautiful on the drive in but the town is also busy with all sorts of traditional German Oktoberfest activities.
