Tire Pressure Monitors for Your RV

Some RVs do not have tire pressure monitors. Since most tire blowouts are preceded by a loss of pressure, having RV tire pressure monitors might give you a heads up. These monitors can let the RV driver know that he is losing pressure in one of his tires. Once alerted, they could slow down and find a safe place to change tires before a blowout can happen.
A friend of mine recently paid a large amount to have his RV repaired. He was on the road when he noticed the trailer pulling to one side. He figured it was just the crosswind pushing the trailer to that direction. To his surprise, his tires blew out and saw pieces of the treads. Not only was the tire destroyed, but the side of his trailer was also damaged when the loose treads started beating the fiberglass. He could have avoided this if he had those tire monitors.
