I am always try to find ways to save time in meal preparation. One of the most helpful RV kitchen accessories is a slow cooker to accomplish short time meal preparation.

There are so many slow cooker recipes to choose from and prep time for a meal is a very short time.  Follow  recipe, set the slow cooker , and then enjoy the day.  When you return from a fun day, dinner is basically ready.  Easy clean up, and then enjoy the evening.

What a way to live.  Jusy fun and games.

One of many RV kitchen accessories that adds to your RV camping experience.

Never damage counters dicing or cutting food in your RV kitchen. Keep needed counter space available by placing non skid Hardwood Stove Topper/Cutting Board on your stove. It has a juice groove to reduce messes which comes in handy when cutting a roast and other cuts of meat. A real neat feature, it can be stored on top of your stove and won’t slip off during travel. No need to find a place to store it.

When you have the convenience RV accessories, life is so much more enjoyable and food preparation is a snap. Before RV camping I bought convenience items for our home and when RV camping became a large part of my life, I realized that it was necessary for me to do the same for the RV. Make life more enjoyable and easier.

Everyone really enjoys eating when RV camping. So often being busy doing fun things during the day causes a big appetite. Good food is much appreciated.

Conserve space in your kitchen and store food for easy meal preparation with a vacuum sealer kit. The food never freezer burns if frozen and tastes really fresh.

Vacuum sealed food requires less space  for storage, therefore,  giving the benefit of a variety of choices to pick from for your meals.

I take advantage of sales of meat and vegetables and store as much as possible, always having plenty to choose from when it comes time to prepare a meal. It is so nice to be stocked with food for different choices to satisfy desires for a meal. Like going to a restaurant and choosing from a menu.

Extra space to store food while RV camping is sometimes needed. Especially if you hit the sales on meat and vegetables. Portable refrigerator/freezers are one of many RV kitchen accessories to consider.

Reduce your trips to the grocery store with the extra space available. Have more time for fun and games. If you don’t need the portable refrigerator/freezer space for food, store soft drinks and water in the  portable refrigerator/freezer and create even more room in your refrigerator. The portable refrigerator/freezer can really come in handy.

You can take it to the beach for cold drinks and a special lunch.

Useful RV Accessory for Your Kitchen – a Counter Top Extension

Space is at a premium in a RV. RV kitchen accessories for extra  counter space always seem to be needed when cooking recipes or preparing a meal. The counter top extension really comes in handy throughout a RV camping trip and stay at a campground. I find myself using it almost all the time when working in the kitchen preparing food, even when some fellow campers come for a visit. The extra space is even great for putting glass on for drinks and orderves. The extra 12 inches added to my work space really makes a difference.

When not in use it just folds down, out of the way, which is really nice. I decided to get another counter top extension and use side by side, 2 ft extra would be awesome.

griddleWhen RV camping having a good breakfast is a great way to start the day.  RVs today have just about everything you need to prepare meals, with the exception of portable cooking appliances.

We enjoy bacon, eggs, and pancakes, with a little fruit on the side. I have a folding griddle which makes the task of fixing a good breakfast easy and rewarding. It is really easy to clean after use, which makes it even better.

After we have had a hearty breakfast we are full of energy and ready to go and enjoy the day, whether it be site seeing or staying at the campground and enjoying the pool.

Can you imagine not having to find a place for the coffeemaker when leaving home or leaving a campground.  The space saver coffeemaker takes the problem of the coffeemaker away.

The space saver coffeemaker was specifically designed for RVs. The space saver coffeemaker is stationary at all times.  Coffee can be left in it without a problem. It stays in your RV at all times. Never have to lug it to the RV when leaving for a RV camping trip.

Enjoy your coffee when camping!

Before my family and I take our annual camping trip to Niagara Falls, I get busy in the kitchen. Although I’m used to making home-cooked meals each night for my wife and sons, this is completely different. For days at a time the house is filled with the most delectable fragrances of food cooking. Unfortunately, most of it is off limits until our camping trip begins.

I put all of the excess foodstuffs in a food saver vacuum sealer, which locks in the fresh flavor of each meal. Once we hit the campsite, it’s just a matter of reheating the food. Of course we still enjoy gorging on traditional camping fare such as hotdogs, hamburgers and marshmallows, but those items will only take you so far. If you’re looking for a variety of flavors and a nutritional advantage, there’s really no other option.

A Solution to Storing Your Coffee Pot while Traveling on the Road

space saver coffee makerEverything needs a safe spot when traveling on the road,  including the much needed coffee pot. We spend a lot of time finding safe spots for stuff before we leave for our RV camping trip an when we leave a RV campground.

Our coffee pot did go in the kitchen sink with coffee in it.  Being able to have a cup of coffee when we want it while traveling is such a pleasure.  The best solution I have found is the space saver coffee maker.  It not only saves space, it stores in a safe  place and keeps coffee hot for 4 hours .

Enjoy your coffee!
